Director and Veterinarian

Emma Tomlinson, MA VetMB MRCVS

Emma is an equine veterinary surgeon and the founder of Tomlinson Equine, where she specialises in equine reproduction and performance-focused veterinary care. With a long-standing passion for breeding and performance horse medicine, she has built the practice into a trusted centre for advanced reproductive techniques, including embryo transfer and breeding management.

A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Emma’s interest in equine reproduction was shaped early in her career, including experience working in Argentina. Emma also plays polo and enjoys spending time with her two children on and off the pitch.

Senior Veterinarian

Fiona Jacob, MA VetMB MRCVS

Fiona graduated from the university of Cambridge in 2009 and moved to Tomlinson Equine soon after where she completed 3 busy high goal polo season before moving to Australia in 2012 to focus on working with racehorses. Fiona returned to TE in 2016 – she loves all aspects of equine first opinion work especially poor performance, lameness, rehabilitation and pre-purchase examinations.

Outside of work Fi is a keen runner, loves spending time with her greyhound Prune and planning her next mountain hike.

Becky Parsons BVM BVS MRCVS

Becky has a particular interest in all things dentistry and enjoys medical investigations especially those trickier cases that require a thorough and methodical approach. She also enjoys stitch ups and lameness. Outside of work she has a retired childhood pony and a tortoise that keep her busy!

Susana Fuente LVM MRCVS

Susie has a strong background in reproduction in both ambulatory and stud settings. Susie also enjoys stitch ups, colics, dentistry and anything medicine! Outside of work she has a horse and a dog that she enjoys spending time with and exploring the countryside!

Lauren Viljoen

Lauren grew up in Zambia surrounded by horses and polo, she moved to the UK to study Bio-veterinary Science and gained experience as a Laboratory Technician. Lauren enjoys running and playing golf on the weekends.

Meg Cartledge

Meg has work with horses for 15 years and completed breeding seasons all over the world including Australia and America. She enjoys working with stallions as well as all aspects breeding and loves the sunshine!

Annabel Ing

Annabel has worked with horses for 15 years in various countries. They are a huge part of her life and she loves every aspect of them! Her favourite thing about stud work is assisting with foaling down!

Bhanwar Singh

Bhanwar has more than 20 years’ experience working with horses. His favourite part of the job is handling stallions for collections and dummy training stallions. He loves the team spirit and the countryside!

Sang Singh

Sang has worked with horses for 11 years with 10 of those years being in Dubai. He loves horses and beer!  His favourite part of stud work is the weanlings and seeing their different personalities!

Mod Singh

Mod has worked with horses for 5 years and enjoys stud work. He loves the teamwork and learning new things. His favourite part of the job is handling foals and watching them grow!

Jog Singh

Jog has worked with horses for the last 25 years, making him very experienced in breeding seasons. He makes the best chicken curry and loves to cook. His favourite part of Tomlinson Equine is the team!

Wendy Bennett

Wendy has worked with horses for many years and enjoys sharing her experience with the team and teaching students. Her favourite part of the job is foaling down and bringing new life into the world.

Tia Pickett

Tia has many years’ experience with horses, her first pony was a new forest, ex riding school pony called Bounty’s Delight! She has successfully evented to BE100, Novice dressage & Team chased at intermediate. She loves helping and chatting with clients and her favourite thing about breeding is the foals!

Maintenance

Ian Nelson

Ian brings his experience in problem solving and vehicle maintenance to keep all operations and facilities running smoothly. In his spare time he can often be found on the golf course come rain or shine!
